A reinterpretation of the traditional botijo, reimagined for contemporary use. The side opening allows it to be filled and cleaned, while the upper opening serves for pouring. The white glaze recalls traditional Basque ceramics. The curve rising through the sphere resembles a mound emerging from the earth—an attempt to recall the gaze of our ancestors and to bring a touch of magical realism into an object. It is an update of familiar elements, crafted in noble materials so they may endure and be passed down from generation to generation.

Botijo Ura. Una reinterpretación del botijo tradicional, enfocado a un uso contemporáneo. El agujero lateral sirve para llenar de agua y limpiar, la abertura superior para servir remite a la cerámica tradicional vasca, al clásico esmaltado en blanco.
Además, formalmente busca conectar con la idea de los ancestros. Actualizar elementos para que se puedan seguir utilizando con materiales nobles que puedan pasarse de generación en generación.
